Post Confessions of a Soccer Nobody
I run a little sports blog with an emphasis on all things Central PA...we've recently added a great new writer who handles the City Islanders and all things soccer.

You can check out the Confessions of a Soccer Nobody on Daddy's Sugar Ball as he so far has:

Taken an early look at the City Islanders' 2010 season
http://daddyssugarball.com/2010/05/07/c ... goals.aspx

Lamented on the recent City Islanders' road trip in the Carolinas
http://daddyssugarball.com/2010/05/11/c ... tless.aspx

And discussed the British Invasion of EPL teams playing in America during the summer to make money and spread their brand

Thanks in advance if you check us out.

Post Re: Confessions of a Soccer Nobody
In his latest post, Soccer Nobody reflects on the curious case of futbol fashion (with special interest on the kits of the City Islanders, Reading United AC, and Philadelphia Union).

He also touches on the Islanders' first vicotry over the Battery, Reading United's improbable run to qualify for the U.S. Open Cup, and the hiring of Bob Warming to helm the men's soccer team at Penn State.

Although, I would love to have a indoor team back in Harrisburg I doubt that it will ever happen. Several groups have talked about it but none have been really serious. It would greatly help the Islanders to keep many of the players here for the entire season then again playing outdoor and then a indoor season will make young men old really fast.
